All About FaB

Born a 2-pound preemie in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, only Heaven knew what the plans would be for FaB The Author's future! She is blessed to be a wife and mother of 2 amazing young Kingz. She considers herself to be a Young, Black, Goddess of a woman who is setting up her place in this book world! She has earned a Master's Degree in Early Literacy from Nova Southeastern University.

Writing has always been a hobby for FaB The Author. She would always write her thoughts in poetic form as well as have a love for reading. It wouldn't be until she earned her Master's Degree and getting a clear understanding of the importance of literacy when the idea of becoming an author would form.

​

The hunger to write and tell a children's stories would manifest itself when her eldest was becoming a big brother and she couldn't find a book with people who looked like them to explain the journey the family was about to embark on.....so she wrote one herself. Though it is not published yet, she read that story to him every night. Throughout her years as an educator, she would often read the stories she had written to the students and watch their amazement of the words while using just their imagination for the pictures.

FaB now understands like eating and breathing, writing is something integral to her existence.  She writes as the Holy Spirit leads and doesn't force herself to sit and write anything specific. This is her path to writing. Everyone has their own journey to greatness.

As she turns her passion into a profession, FAB THE AUTHOR is writing prolifically and is constantly exploring new themes, genres and ideas. It’s incredibly hard work, but she's never happier than when she sits down at her desk putting the opening words to a new book or story on paper.

FAB is thankful everyday for the opportunity to pursue and fulfill her vision of becoming a bestselling author.
